Privacy Statement

Energise2-0 treats your privacy very seriously. The following statements explain our policy regarding the personal information we collect about you and any Cookies that we use. It is equally relevant to our customers, partners and staff. Energise2-0 aims to meet current best practice in Privacy Policy.

A. Cookies

(1) WordPress Cookies

WordPress uses cookies, or tiny pieces of information stored on your computer, to verify who you are. There are cookies for logged in users and for commenters.

Logged in Users

On login, wordpress uses the wordpress_[hash] cookie to store your authentication details. It’s use is limited to the admin console area, /wp-admin/

After login, wordpress sets the wordpress_logged_in_[hash] cookie, which indicates when you’re logged in, and who you are, for most interface use.

WordPress also sets a few wp-settings-{time}-[UID] cookies. The number on the end is your individual user ID from the users database table. This is used to customize your view of the admin interface, and possibly also the main site interface.

When visitors comment on the blog, they get cookies stored on their computer. This is purely a convenience, so that the visitor won’t need to re-type all their information again when they want to leave another comment. Three cookies are set for commenters:

  •     comment_author
  •     comment_author_email
  •     comment_author_url

The commenter cookies are set to expire a little under one year from the time they’re set.

(2) Civic Cookie Control

When you click “I’m happy with this…” on the Cookie Control user interface, a cookie is set in order to remember your preference. These cookies are set only after the user has given consent to use cookies.

  • civicAllowCookies
  • civicShowCookieIcon

We use Google Analytics to monitor traffic levels, search queries and visits to this website. Google Analytics stores IP address anonamously on its servers in the US, and neither Energise2-0 nor Google associate your IP address with any personally identifiable information.

These cookies enable Google to determine whether you are a return visitor to the site, and to track the pages that you visit during your session.

These cookies are set only after the user has given consent to us to use cookies.

(4) Twitter

These cookies are set by Twitter to provide Tweet links:

[These cookies will be set when you log in to Twitter via the Tweet links and will stay on your browser for 5 days]
