Once again, I am delighted to be visiting the Middle East to deliver the ‘Social Media: Strategy and Management’ elective class on the Strathclyde MBA Programme.

I look forward to meeting everyone in Oman (13th to 15th of Feb) and in Abu Dhabi (20th to 22nd Feb). Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any questions in advance of the two classes.

For elective class participants, and those with an interest in doing business in the region generally, you may find the following two Infographics of interest summarising as they do the growing use of social media in the Middle East and North Africa.

The Infographics raise a number of important issues to be addressed during the forthcoming workshops:

  • What are the implications  of this constantly connected world for the way business is done in the region?
  • Does social media herald the ‘end of business as usual’?
  • What are the implications for you personally in terms of career development?
  • Is your organisation a digital leader or a digital dinosaur?
