If you have attended an Energise 2-0 Social Media/Social Business Workshop over the last few years, you will know that two of our main passions are:
- The potential business benefits to be derived from developing and implementing an effective Social Media/Social Business Strategy
- The exciting new career opportunities opening up for our University and College graduates as more and more companies seek to tap into the skills and experience of our young ‘Digital Natives’.
As a consequence, we are delighted to announce the formal launch of Glasgow City Council’s Digital Exporter Graduate Internship Scheme – a programme aimed at creating quality job opportunities for recent graduates while delivering real tangible business benefits to participating companies, especially those wishing to expand abroad. The overall aim is to improve the export competitiveness and performance of participating businesses through leveraging the digital skills of recent graduates.
We will be programme managing, with GCC, the pilot launch of ‘Digital Exporter’ and are currently looking for high quality companies and graduates interested in participating in the Internship Scheme. Full details and contact information can be found in the PDF download below.
Please do get in touch if you are interested in learning more about the new programme.

At least initially, and for the Pilot Programme, graduates and participating companies need to be Glasgow based. However, if successful, the Pilot may be rolled out nationwide into 2014 – so even if you are based outside Glasgow, please do get in touch.
We would like to thank Glasgow City Council and, in particular Marjorie Miller and Christine Gardner, for their tremendous support in getting this off the ground.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions at this stage.
